What we are / are not
A public-benefit nonprofit that teaches ordinary people how to install real wallet software, back up recovery words on paper, connect to the right network, and complete a verified mint on Base — so readiness is a practiced skill, not a rumor. We are not a fund, a broker, a wrap shop, or a place that holds your coins. We do not manage assets. We do not promise price, floor, or performance. A workshop seat is education, not a product sale.
Eight stations to First Light

01 Self-custody literacy — Workshops and materials that walk the eight stations in plain language — device vs seed vs PIN, restore-test discipline, and why explorer confirmation is the only green light.
Install a wallet client from an official channel. Question: Am I installing the real publisher?
5 Fund ETH
Get native gas on that chain. Question: Test ETH or real ETH? Right network?
02 First Light drills
Generate a purpose-tagged keypair. Question: Which class is this wallet for?
6 Open Remix
Load the compiler and injected provider. Question: Is the host exactly remix.ethereum.org?
03 Estate-ready hygiene — Education on keeping recovery offline and making succession thinkable without putting seeds in a will, a cloud note, or a chat.
Handwrite the recovery words; prove a restore. Question: If this laptop dies tonight, do I still exist on-chain?
7 Deploy contract
Make bytecode public and mostly immutable. Question: Did I read constructor args and owner aloud?
4 Connect Base
Point the wallet at the right chain ID. Question: 8453 or 84532 — from docs, not a chat link?
8 Mint NFT
Confirm ownerOf + resolvable tokenURI. Question: Does the explorer token page exist? Guides and tools may prepare the path. Humans complete it. Students hold their own keys. Staff do not type, photograph, store, or check recovery words.
